Facilities

What it does

A facility is a physical site where care is delivered — a clinic, hospital, or office. Facilities belong to a tenant and can be broken down into departments, locations, and rooms so work and resources can be organized within a site.

Where to find it

Administrators manage facilities under Admin → Facilities (/admin/facilities). If you work at more than one site, you'll also see a Select facility screen (/select-facility).

Common tasks

Choose the facility you're working at

Use the facility switcher or Select facility so your work is recorded against the right site.

Add or edit a facility (administrators)

  1. In Admin → Facilities, select New (or open an existing facility).
  2. Enter its details and Save.
  3. Open the facility to manage its Departments, Locations, and Rooms.

Tips & limitations

  • A facility belongs to one tenant; managing facilities requires administrator permissions.
  • Departments, locations, and rooms are optional — set up as much structure as your site needs.
